Mark Shilstone doesn't just play the music of the '60s and '70s. He was there.
A working musician during the era, Mark performed at San Frnacisco's legendary Fillmore West in 1971 and experienced firsthand the extraordinary period that produced the music he still performs today.
But there's another side to Mark's story. Since 1977 he has taught communication and public speaking at the college level - nearly five decades spent learning what makes an audience listen, laugh, remember, and connect.
Put those two lives together and you get something different from the typical classic-rock performer: a musician who knows these songs because he lived them, and a storyteller who knows how to bring an audience along for the ride.
